Louisville Metro Housing Authority Development Corporation (LMHADC) merged with Louisville Housing Services (LHS), which was created in 1985 by the Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) to facilitate the development and management of housing ventures in which HUD did not allow housing authorities to participate. LMHADC and LMHA have collaboratively developed over 350 units of homeownership in mostly multi-family condominium regimes. LMHADC currently manages 4 condominium regimes. LMHADC also manages an affordable homeownership mortgage loan portfolio. The mortgage loan portfolio is the result of the previously mentioned homeownership development. LMHADC also owns Newbridge, an LMHA sponsored Project Based Voucher development. LMHADC continues to facilitate affordable housing development and related activities at the request of LMHA.
