Presbyterian Community Center (PCC) Building

“The historic Presbyterian Community Center (PCC) has been a beloved landmark in the Smoketown neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky since 1892 and was the epicenter of both physical and social activity. The PCC moved their operations to a newly constructed building across the street from the historic PCC and donated their original structure to the Louisville Metro Housing Authority in support of its Sheppard Square HOPE VI Revitalization efforts. The renovated historic PCC now features 32 affordable housing units (6 which are fully accessible), along with 10,700 sq. feet in the lower level for future commercial development. (The building’s first tenant- the Smoketown Family Wellness Center- expects to open its clinic doors in the summer of 2017).”
